Self-defense is the art of defending yourself and the knowledge of how to do it.
Self-defense is only for the moment when you are being attacked. In this moment there are only two possibilities : you either become a victim or you defend yourself. Because of this self-defense has to be taken very seriously .The attacker can be hurt badly.
In practice of self-defense you first of all have to decimate your fear, you can do this by screaming out loud. The closer you scream to the attackers ear the more he gets shocked.

In HANNAH KUNG FU the third grade is a long kata existing only of self-defense techniques. Especially women like it a lot.
