Yoga originated in India. The word “YOGA” is derived from Sanscrit, an ancient Indo- European language. In Yoga you try to bring your destructive characteristics under control like laziness, anger, hate, fear, gluttony, to be untrue and negative. Gaining control you can become one with the spirit of creation. By exercising Yoga you can feel that you are a part of the whole. Exericing Yoga you become: flexible, happy, peaceful, patient, calm, balanced, upright. You feel the meaning of life. The Sanscrit word Yoga is in Persian yoogh, in portugues jugo in English yoke, in German Joch, similar to all Indo-European languages and gives us a feeling for the meaning of the word, i.e. the human being brings his/her characteristics under his/her own yoke to educate him/herself.
